Getting Ready in Sorrento

Emily spent the morning getting ready at her family home in Sorrento. It was calm and full of anticipation. She wore a beautifully structured Danielle Frankel gown that matched her minimalist and refined style. Surrounded by her closest friends and family, the morning set the tone for the rest of the day — relaxed, thoughtful and deeply personal.

A Coastal Ceremony With a View

Their ceremony took place at a private property overlooking the Sorrento coastline. It was intimate and scenic, with wild coastal greenery and soft ocean light. Emily and Tom’s daughter played a special role throughout the day, which made everything feel even more meaningful. Their vows were full of emotion, with laughter, tears and plenty of hugs to go around.

Portraits and Sunset Light

After the ceremony, we wandered the cliffs and paths nearby for portraits. These are the moments I love capturing most — when couples are fully present, taking in the quiet in between all the excitement. The late afternoon sun gave us soft golden light and a peaceful pocket of time before the celebrations kicked off.

A Reception at The Continental Sorrento

Emily and Tom hosted their reception at The Continental in Sorrento. The venue’s mix of modern design and historic charm created the perfect setting. There were emotional speeches, incredible food, and a full dance floor by nightfall. It was a celebration that felt elegant but never too formal, with a natural sense of flow and fun.
